Remember - if you are using the gym service road for drop-off, you should be getting out at the crosswalk and not the gym.  Black History Month Fact Hey Blue Wave and happy Black History Month from the Black Student Union, did you know there is a Florida state bill that advocates for black voter’s rights, which is named after Floridian civil rights activists Harry T. Moore and Harriette Moore who helped many black people become registered voters in the state of Florida. Battle of the Belts PK Yonge HOSA is hosting Battle of Belts, we are leading Bucholz and Gainesville High school with the highest percentage of drivers on our campus wearing seatbelts.  Good afternoon students! Did you know that wearing your safety belt is one of the most important things you can do to protect yourself in a car? Safety belts can reduce the risk of serious injury or fatality in a crash by up to 50%. So the next time you get in a car, make sure to buckle up and stay safe! ECO Club Attention 8th and 9th graders interested in improving our local environment.  The ECO club is now open to 8th and 9th graders at lunch on the first B Day of every week.  Please come to Mrs. Fab’s classroom (Room 110) at 8/9 lunch on Tuesday 2/3 to find out more! DECA All DECA members, there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, February 3rd from 7:45 until 8:15.  Hispanic Honor Society All Hispanic Honor Society current and new members please come to our meeting this Wednesday, February 4, from 7:45 to 8:15.  SGA Voting Attention current 7th through 11th grade students! Voting ballots for student government officers and senators are open and were sent through Canvas email! Please vote for your grades senators and student body officers. Voting closes February 10th.   SAT/ACT Test Prep Attention 9th–12th Grade Students! Registration is now open for our SAT/ACT Sessions for our first session! The registration window is open now through February 4 and closes at 4:00 p.m. Students will receive email notifications on February 5, and sessions will take place on February 7. You can register using the QR code posted in the main office or on wing bulletin boards, or by email. Don’t miss this opportunity to prepare and succeed!  College & Career Fair  Attention 10th–12th Grade Students! The first 50 students to sign up can attend upcoming College and Career–focused field trips—don’t miss out! The College & Career Fair will be February 12 from 8:00–11:30 AM in Starke.  The Construction Day Field Trip will be February 26 from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
