Morning Enrichment
Our Morning Enrichment Program for Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is designed to give your child a fun and engaging start to their day, focusing on key areas of early childhood development. Here’s what you can expect:
- Continued Language Development: Through interactive storytelling, songs, and conversations, children will expand their vocabulary and improve their ability to express themselves clearly.
- Continued Literacy Development: We incorporate activities like reading aloud, letter recognition games, and early writing exercises to foster a love for reading and build foundational literacy skills.
- Continued Social-Emotional Development: Our program includes activities that help children understand and manage their emotions, develop empathy, and build self-confidence. We focus on helping each child learn to navigate social situations and develop strong interpersonal skills.
- Continued Peer Interactions Through Play: Play is a crucial part of learning at this age. We provide a variety of structured and unstructured play opportunities that encourage children to interact with their peers, practice sharing, cooperation, and teamwork.
Our goal is to create a warm and supportive environment where children feel excited to learn and grow every day. Join us for a morning of enriching activities that set the stage for a successful transition to kindergarten!
Afternoon Enrichment
Our Afternoon Enrichment Program for Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is designed to continue your child’s day with engaging activities that focus on essential developmental areas. Here’s what we offer:
- Continued Math Development: Through fun and interactive activities, children will explore basic math concepts such as counting, patterns, shapes, and simple addition and subtraction. We use hands-on games and puzzles to make learning math enjoyable and meaningful.
- Continued Science Development: Curiosity is at the heart of our science activities. Children will participate in simple experiments, nature exploration, and hands-on projects that introduce them to the wonders of the natural world. They’ll learn to observe, ask questions, and make discoveries.
- Continued Music: Music is a joyful and creative part of our program. Children will engage in singing, rhythm games, and playing simple instruments. These activities not only foster a love for music but also support cognitive and motor skill development.
- Continued Project-Based Learning: Children will work on themed projects that integrate various subjects and skills. These projects encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Whether building a model, creating art, or exploring a topic in depth, project-based learning helps children apply what they’ve learned in a meaningful way.
Our goal is to create an afternoon filled with exploration, creativity, and discovery. Join us for an enriching experience that complements your child’s morning activities and supports their overall development.
