Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! There’s a special kind of excitement that fills the air when a new school year begins—the joy of fresh starts, the energy of new possibilities, and the comfort of familiar faces coming back together. Whether your student is returning or just beginning their PK journey, we’re so glad you’re here.
For me, PK Yonge is more than a school—it's home. I'm a proud PK graduate, and so are many members of my family. Now, my own children are current PK students. Our roots at PK run deep, and I love this school with all my heart. I know how powerful a PK experience can be, and I’m honored to lead our 6th–12th grade community as we begin another meaningful year together.
This year, our school-wide theme is: One Wave. One Family.
Every year, we send out one wave of PK graduates into the world—graduates who are ready to lead, inspire, and make change. And while PK spans 14 grade levels, from Pre-K through 12th grade, we are just one wave—one united school family growing and learning together.
And sometimes, one wave is all it takes. A simple wave hello can show kindness, make someone feel welcome, and remind them they belong. We want PK to be a place where everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
At the heart of all this is our deep commitment to academic success. Our educators are dedicated to designing rich, engaging learning experiences that challenge students to think deeply, work collaboratively, and reach their highest potential. We believe that every student can achieve, and we’ll walk alongside them—providing support, encouragement, and high expectations every step of the way.
The PK family is strong, and I’m grateful your family is a part of it. As we begin the year, I look forward to meeting each of you and helping to create a school where your child can:
