Dear Blue Wave Families,
We are excited to tell you that construction on the new gymnasium will begin in February!
The first day for new traffic procedures will be Monday, February 2.
It will be important that you share the new traffic procedures with others who assist with your child’s transportation, including family members, babysitters, afterschool care facilities, etc.
We appreciate your patience and partnership as we work through these temporary changes together. We will be providing more details soon and on a frequent basis.
Morning Drop-Off (Grades 6–12)
- Enter through the 6th Street entrance only. (NO GYM DROP OFF)
- Once inside, you’ll have two options:
- Option 1: Drop off in the 6th Street circle and exit back onto 6th Street.
- Option 2: Enter from 6th Street and proceed through the faculty parking lot to the covered walkway that intersects the service road. Drop students off there from the passenger side of the car, then continue along the service drive behind the gym and exit through the south gate leading to SW 16th Avenue. See map below.
- Please note: The service drive will be one-way traffic only.
- Elementary drop-off will remain the same.
Afternoon Pick-Up
- Families may pick up in either in the Elementary Circle or the 6th Street Circle.
- The service drive and south gate will not be used in the afternoon.
- The Elementary Circle will open for secondary student pick-up at 3:20 PM. Please allow time for elementary students to be picked up by not blocking elementary pickup traffic. Do not park and wait for secondary students during elementary pickup time.
