Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Wednesday, October 8, 2025 Bluebook Readiness Check Grades 8-12 - This Monday, October 13th, we will be completing a Bluebook Readiness Check for the PSAT during 1st period. Students in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 will go to their testing location for this readiness check. Students scheduled in 2nd floor green will complete this readiness check in the PAC. All Seniors will report to 2nd floor Orange during this readiness check. To find your testing location, lists have been posted in the commons area, and in 1st and 3rd floor wings.  NJHS There is an NJHS meeting for all 8th grade members tomorrow morning at 7:45am in 2nd floor green open space.  Members must have permission forms turned in or bring them tomorrow to participate.  Reminder that 7th grade members will meet next week on Thursday, October 16. MS Baseball Attention, middle school baseball players!  Baseball season is coming soon! There will be an interest meeting for all middle school baseball players on Thursday, October 16, in the first floor Green Wing from 3:05 to 3:25 p.m. If you’re in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and want to play baseball this season, make sure to attend the meeting to learn about tryouts, registration, and the upcoming season. See Dr. Mundorf if you have any questions. Girls Basketball Girls Basketball - Tryouts are approaching… with that being said you will ABSOLUTELY NEED to have a current physical and be cleared through athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org to tryout. So please don’t wait to the last minute. If it is not uploaded and cleared before the date you will not be able to tryout. 🏀🌊 Let’s have an amazing year!  University of Alabama Applications Attention seniors! This week ONLY — apply to the University of Alabama for FREE through the UA Undergraduate App by Friday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. CST! That’s right—no fee! Common App submissions still require the $40 fee, so don’t miss your chance! Letterman Jackets Did you miss the first letter jacket fitting? There will be a 2nd fitting on Friday, October 24th during lunch by the art wing.  Pick-up your order from from the main office and come with payment to turn in on fitting day to place your order. Cash for College Night Hey Seniors - The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Cash for College Night and will provide assistance for FASFA this Thursday from 5-7pm in the commons. Seniors who attend the event will receive a $25 gift card. See you then!  Girls Soccer Attention, PK Girls Soccer players! We are doing Conditioning and pickup soccer on Wednesdays until October 8th. They will be held on the top field. Middle school will practice from 2:00-3:30pm, followed by varsity conditioning, practicing from 3:30-5pm. Bring your cleats and water!
