Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Wednesday, October 15, 2025 Hispanic Heritage Show Wednesday, October 15 is the last day of the Hispanic month, and we are hoping that you can join us in the Hispanic Month Show. We will be selling food prepared by the parents of our students participating in the show from 5-6. Doors for the show will open at 5:45 and the show would be from 6-7. We hope that you can join us, tickets for the show can be purchased cash or credit card. For the food on October 15 it is cash only. The funds will be used to help the students go to competitions. Please see Mrs. Santiago for questions or for tickets. Tickets will be also available the day of the show.  Dance Marathon Miracle Story Hey PK! Dance Marathon wants to share the inspiring story of Ella Grace. At just 3 years old, Ella Grace started experiencing severe pain, and after multiple visits to specialists, she was diagnosed with Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis (CRMO), a rare disease that causes inflammation and damage to the bones. After a failed surgery, her family found help at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital, where she now receives treatments closer to home. For the first time, they’re hearing hopeful news about her condition. Ella Grace’s strength has inspired many, and her family continues to raise awareness for pediatric care and rare disease research. The generosity of Dance Marathon helps make life-changing treatments like hers possible, bringing hope to families facing similar challenges. Football Hey Blue Wave! This Friday, October 17th, is senior night for football, band, and cheer! Come out and support your blue wave teams. The student section theme is orange and blue. Senior celebrations begin at 6:30 and the game starts at 7. Show up and show out! Softball Attention Softball players. There will be an interest meeting on Tuesday, October 21st at 3:15pm at the cafeteria with new Head Coach Mike Whelan. If you are interested in playing softball please come to that meeting. NJHS There will be an NJHS meeting tomorrow morning, Thursday October 16th, for 7th grade NJHS members. The meeting begins at 7:45am in the 2nd floor green open space.  Announce 10/13-16 Attention, PK Girls Soccer players! Tryouts are this week! All tryouts will be held on the top field. Tryouts for middle school and varsity are on Monday and Tuesday, 3:30-5:30, on Wednesday at 2:00-3:30 for middle school and 3:30-5:30 for varsity. Varsity tryouts will also be held on Thursday, 3:30-5:30. You MUST have your athletic clearance completed in order to try out. Bring cleats, shin guards, and your own water! Announce 10/8-15 Attention, middle school baseball players!  Baseball season is coming soon! There will be an interest meeting for all middle school baseball players on Thursday, October 16, in the first floor Green Wing from 3:05 to 3:25 p.m. If you’re in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and want to play baseball this season, make sure to attend the meeting to learn about tryouts, registration, and the upcoming season. See Dr. Mundorf if you have any questions. Letterman Jackets Did you miss the first letter jacket fitting? There will be a 2nd fitting on Friday, October 24th during lunch by the art wing.  Pick-up your order from from the main office and come with payment to turn in on fitting day to place your order.
