Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Tuesday, September 16, 2025 HoCo Dance Attention high school students! The homecoming dance--Golden Age Gala--is this Saturday, September 20th, 7-11pm! Get excited and don’t forget to have the night of your life with dancing, food, a red carpet, and a student DJ. Don’t forget to buy your student and guest tickets to attend--final price is $35!! Dance volunteer form closes today, Monday 15th, so hurry and sign up for volunteer hours. Ticket sales CLOSE today, September 16th! No tickets will be sold at the door, so please plan ahead and buy now! Buy tickets. Powderpuff Tickets for the annual Powder Puff flag football game will go on sale Monday, September 15th at all lunches at the cafeteria. The game is Thursday, September 18th during 4th period. Tickets cost $3 and are the only way to get let out for the game. Letterman Jackets The letterman jacket representative will be available for fittings and ordering on Monday, September 22 during all lunch periods. Please pick-up your order form from the front office in preparation for Monday.  HoCo Spirit Week Attention PK! Tomorrow is dress as your favorite celebrity day, but E-learning day for 8th-12th graders! HoCo Game Attention Bluewave Students! This Friday night at 7pm, our Bluewave football team takes the field, and we need to see everyone in the student section.The theme is neon, so show up in your brightest fits and make the stands stand out. Let’s pack the section, be loud, and give our team the energy they need. See you Friday night. Go Bluewave! 8th Grade Bragging Rights Family Night Please join the 8th Graders at Bragging Rights Arcade for Family Night tonight from 3 until 9. Twenty five percent of the proceeds will help the 8th Grade with their end-of-the year field trip to Sea World. Join Ms. Miley, the Queen of the air hockey table and you know Bourn will crush you in shooting hoops. Many video games and much arcade fun to be had...hope to see you there! NJHS There will be an Introductory NJHS meeting this Thursday morning for 7th graders who applied or are interested in joining the National Junior Honor Society.  If you are an 8th grader who missed last week's meeting, please make plans to also attend this Thursday morning to receive important information and a parent permission form.  We will meet in 2nd Floor Green Open Space at 7:45am this Thursday, September 18th. HOSA HOSA membership is now open. Permission slips and fees must be paid and submitted by Friday, October 3rd. Officer applications are available after membership requirements are met. Officer elections will take place Wednesday October 8th in L-354 during high school lunch. Forms can be found in L-354.  College & Career Fair Don’t miss the Santa Fe College College & Career Fair at the Blount Center in Gainesville on Wednesday, September 17th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Explore college and career options and talk with representatives from schools like Full Sail University, Florida Memorial University, Flagler College, University of Florida, Valdosta State, and many more. For a complete list of participating schools, check the QR code on bulletin boards or in the main office. A College & Career Fair Checklist will also be available in the main office or on the College & Career Hub to help you plan your visit.
