Today is Tuesday, October 7, 2025 Girls Basketball Girls Basketball - Tryouts are approaching… with that being said you will ABSOLUTELY NEED to have a current physical and be cleared through athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org to tryout. So please don’t wait to the last minute. If it is not uploaded and cleared before the date you will not be able to tryout. 🏀🌊 Let’s have an amazing year!  HOSA Attention HOSA members our first official meeting will take place Wednesday October 8th during 10-12 lunch in L-354. We will vote for officer positions and review upcoming HOSA events. See you there.  Empower Her Hey blue wave!! Empower Her meeting Wednesday October 8th during 10/12 grade lunch! Come to hear the new officers and learn more about the drive coming up! FCA Hey PK! Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet this Wednesday, October 8th, from 7:30 to 8:20 in the morning, before school in the cafeteria. Students AND staff are welcome to attend! Bring your friends and we hope to see you there! University of Alabama Applications Attention seniors! This week ONLY — apply to the University of Alabama for FREE through the UA Undergraduate App by Friday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. CST! That’s right—no fee! Common App submissions still require the $40 fee, so don’t miss your chance! National Guard During 10th–12th grade lunch today, be sure to stop by the National Guard table in the commons area. Learn about opportunities available after graduation and ask questions about how the National Guard can help you reach your goals. Don’t miss it! Letterman Jackets Did you miss the first letter jacket fitting? There will be a 2nd fitting on Friday, October 24th during lunch by the art wing.  Pick-up your order from from the main office and come with payment to turn in on fitting day to place your order. Cash for College Night Hey Seniors - The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Cash for College Night and will provide assistance for FASFA this Thursday from 5-7pm in the commons. Seniors who attend the event will receive a $25 gift card. See you then!  Girls Soccer Attention, PK Girls Soccer players! We are doing Conditioning and pickup soccer on Wednesdays until October 8th. They will be held on the top field. Middle school will practice from 2:00-3:30pm, followed by varsity conditioning, practicing from 3:30-5pm. Bring your cleats and water!
