Hey Blue Wave! Today is Tuesday, August 18.  Spain Summer 2027 For students that have taken Spanish 3 or above and are interested in traveling to Spain in the summer of 2027 please see Mrs. Santiago in Blue 113 this week before or after school you have to be in 9-11 grade and be 15.  FSU Admissions Officer Attention future college students! A delegate from the Florida State University Admissions Office will be on campus Tuesday August 25! If you’re interested in being a future FSU Seminole, make sure to meet with the visiting admissions officer. UNICEF All members and students interested in UNICEF our meeting has been change for this Thursday from 7:45-8:20. Blue- 113.  DECA Members and students interested in DECA the meeting for this Wednesday after school has been changed to Thursday after school from 3:05-3:35.  Hispanic Honor Society All Hispanic Honor Society members and all the students that are interested in belonging to the Hispanic Honor Society please come to the meeting on Wednesday, August 19,  from 7:45-8:20 in blue 113.  JAM Club Are you interested in a career in law and justice?  Maybe you want to be a teacher?  Go into medicine?  Or social work?  Stop by Mrs. Fab’s room before or after school this week to pick up an interest form about JAM club.  JAM stands for Justice and Autism in Motion.  We will learn about neurodiversity with an expert from UF joining us weekly.  Our club took last year off, but we’re bringing it back with plans for even more field trips, action projects, conference presentation opportunities, and seniors… if you’re still looking for ideas, this could be a great start to a senior project!   Club Showcase Club Showcase is on its way! Come see all the clubs that PK offers on August 27th from 7:45 to 8:30 in the courtyard. Show up with PK pride and energy! Peer Tutoring Attention all 10th-12th graders: Do you want to earn volunteer hours while helping a fellow student find success? Come to our Peer Tutoring meeting to find out how you can make a positive difference. The meeting will take place during 10th-12th grade lunch on Wednesday, August 19th, in Ms. Roach’s room, 2nd Floor Orange, room 253. Auditions  Auditions for the fall plays Clue: High School Edition and Almost Main will be on Tuesday, August 18th at 3:15 in the PAC National English Honor Society Attention Literature lovers: The National English Honor Society will be holding an interest meeting on Wednesday 8/19 during 10-12 lunch in Ms. Weber’s room, Blue 312. This meeting is for both new and returning members. Participants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, as well as a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their English courses.   Stay Wavy, Blue Wave!
