She as well as founded a national organization dedicated to African American females and was the founder of Florida's second largest HBCU Bethune Cookman University  Bluebook Readiness Check Grades 8-12 - This Monday, October 13th, we will be completing a Bluebook Readiness Check for the PSAT during 1st period. Students in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 will go to their testing location for this readiness check. Students scheduled in 2nd floor green will complete this readiness check in the PAC. All Seniors will report to 2nd floor Orange during this readiness check. To find your testing location, lists have been posted in the commons area, and in 1st and 3rd floor wings.  HOSA  The votes are in....announcing your 25-26 HOSA Officers....Please congratulate the following: Let's get ready for a year of leadership, service, and learning.  Our next HOSA meeting will be Wednesday, October 15th in L-354 during 10-12 lunch and we will be hosting a guest speaker, so please be on time :)   MS Baseball Attention, middle school baseball players!  Baseball season is coming soon! There will be an interest meeting for all middle school baseball players on Thursday, October 16, in the first floor Green Wing from 3:05 to 3:25 p.m. If you’re in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and want to play baseball this season, make sure to attend the meeting to learn about tryouts, registration, and the upcoming season. This week ONLY — apply to the University of Alabama for FREE through the UA Undergraduate App by Friday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. CST! That’s right—no fee! Common App submissions still require the $40 fee, so don’t miss your chance! Letterman Jackets Did you miss the first letter jacket fitting? There will be a 2nd fitting on Friday, October 24th during lunch by the art wing.  Pick-up your order from from the main office and come with payment to turn in on fitting day to place your order. Cash for College Night  Hey Seniors - The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Cash for College Night and will provide assistance for FASFA this Thursday from 5-7pm in the commons.
