Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Thursday, April 9, 2026.  Spring Musical Be sure to catch Mean Girls High School Version this Thursday through Sunday. Weekend Matinees are at 2 PM and evening performances are at 6:30! This is such a fetch show and we hope to see you there. Congrats Track Congrats to our track team top finishes from our recent Oak Hall Mini Meet:

• girls discus, Zoe Jones took 1st place.
• boys discus, Grayson Strnad earned 3rd place.
• girls shot put, Sarah Nesbitt placed 2nd.
• boys shot put, Grayson Strnad placed 2nd and Daniel Burney took 3rd.
• boys 100-meter dash, Ziyair Harvey finished 3rd.
• boys 4x400-meter relay team of Aaron Celia, Sam Dunmore, Julian Gilbert, and Ziyair Harvey placed 3rd.
• boys 4x100-meter relay, Byron Lewis, Aaron Celis, Sam Dunmore, and Ziyair Harvey earned 2nd place.
• boys 200-meter dash, Sam Dunmore took 1st place.
• girls 200-meter dash, Sarah Gutierrez placed 2nd.

Great job to all of our athletes! MS Baseball Last night Surge White dominated the 3rd and 4th innings with Xander on the mound. Newton added a double, Christian gave the umpires sunflowers seeds out of respect for their hard work, and Viktor, aka Frankenstein, supplied positive reinforcement by complimenting his teammates defense.  8th Grade Bragging Rights Night The Eighth Grade is excited to invite everyone to their last fundraising event at BRAGGING RIGHTS on Tuesday April 28th after school. Located within walking distance on 8th Avenue, their doors will remain open until 10 PM so stay for an hour or stay for seven hours!! One quarter of the proceeds will help support our end of the year celebration. Please consider showing off your video game skills while supporting our cause, FUN for FUN’s sake!! NHS Applications If you have been invited to complete an application for National Honor Society applications are due to Dr. Sterner are due April 16 and teacher recommendations are due ASAP! Jeremiah's Help support our Odyssey of the Mind Teams as they gear up for the world competition, Jeremiah’s will be out at the top circle on Friday after school and every Friday until the end of school.   SGA Dress Drive Hey Blue Wave! This week Student Gov is having a dress drive! Students are able to donate old prom dresses for reuse. There will be a drop off box located in the commons at the library desk where you can drop off your dresses until April 10th! Please be sure to donate. Have a great way Bluewave! National Librarian Week  During National Librarian Week, we want to recognize Mrs. Koppitch’s passion for literacy and lifelong learning. She goes above and beyond to promote reading and ensure students have access to resources that help them succeed. Thank you for being such an important part of our school!
