April Resiliency Skill The Resiliency Skill for the month of April is Perseverance. It’s about standing firm in the face of adversity. During the Civil Rights Movement, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. embodied this spirit when he said, “If you can’t fly then run, it you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward”. Remember that progress is made step by step. Keep going, keep striving, and never give up.   Please pause for a moment of silence.  (SILENCE) Please stand for the Pledge: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all. Have a great day, Blue Wave!
