Welcome to Theatre!

High School students at P.K. Yonge are encouraged to explore their skills and talents for the stage in Theatre class. Students study modern and classic plays, monologues, scenes, and perform a large variety of improv and theatre games as they learn about the multitude of performance genres of the theatre.

High School students can audition for the fall play, AX of MURDER, and the spring musical, GODSPELL!

PKY Thespian Troupe 4102 competes yearly at Florida District Thespian Competition with great success. Those who achieve Superior status advance to competition and attendance at the Florida State Thespian Conference.

AX of MURDER:  Performances: October 12-15

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Click link below!

But when a police sergeant shows up stating he was called in on a murder, people begin to wonder. Wonder turns to fear when someone is murdered onstage! And it seems as if nobody could have done it. No “body,” that is, but perhaps a ghost ….
