AP Computer Science Principles

This is an introductory course that gives an overview of computer science. It is a nurturing course that should give strong foundations for further study in computer science and many other STEM fields. The course is divided into five units, which include The Internet, Digital Information, Intro to Programming, Big Data and Privacy, and Building Apps. Students will also be required to complete two performance tasks, which tie into their AP score. Code.org will be the primary resource for instruction.
