Biography

B.M.E., Miami University, Oxford, Ohio
M.M.M.Ed., University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida
NBCT, Early Childhood Music | Master Level Orff Schulwerk Certification

Mr. Roberts teaches music and movement to children between five years old to fifth grade and elementary pedagogy to university undergraduate students. Michael also directs the P.K. Yonge Elementary Chorus. He regularly leads workshops for Orff Schulwerk Chapters throughout the U.S. and hosts sessions at State and National Music Education Conferences. Mr. Roberts is a National Board Certified Teacher in early childhood music education. He is Master level certified in Orff Schulwerk education and served on the Board of Trustees for the American Orff Schulwerk Association. Mr. Roberts currently serves as President for the Heart of Florida Orff Chapter.
