Heather Roessler

Heather utilizes a collaborative and data-centered approach to guide the work she does with students, providing tailored educational and social-emotional support. When working with individual students, she is skilled in cognitive behavioral approaches and infuses mindfulness components and positive psychology into her sessions. When consulting with teachers, she maintains students’ confidentiality while providing approaches that may help the student succeed in the classroom. Prior to joining PK Yonge in the fall of 2021, Heather worked as a School Psychologist at a public school at the Jersey Shore; she focused her work around creating a community that supported all students, utilizing data to guide changes in the school environment.

Outside of school, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, baking, reading, hiking, and exercising.
