Jalea began teaching first grade in 2018 and loves the K/1 learning community. Before becoming an instructor at PK Yonge, Jalea served as the kindergarten intern in the K/1 learning community, while earning her master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Florida. Jalea is passionate about teaching students how to be independent thinkers and learners, individuals, and lifelong learners committed to self-growth and improvement. In her free time, Jalea enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cooking and baking, exploring new foods and places, and learning new things.
