Middle and High School students - Where to go on the first day of school?
We do not have a school uniform but we do expect you to dress properly, please refer to the Dress Code so you can dress for success.
After School Program
Blue Wave After School Inc. is an independent contractor that provides after-school care on the PKY campus. It is available for PK Yonge students in grades K-8. You may pick up an application at middle school orientation, at elementary "Meet the Teacher," or you may call 352-692-3007 with any questions.
PE Uniforms
Uniforms will be available in the business office. The price for uniforms is $14. $7 for shirt and $7 for shorts. You may purchase with cash, check, or credit / debit cards. Make checks payable to University of Florida. The business office is open Monday – Thursday, 7:00am -3:00pm during the summer if you want to purchase a uniform prior to the beginning of school.
Parking Passes
Students who plan to drive to school any time during the year will need to purchase a PK parking pass for $40.00 from the business office. This link takes you to theForms Page where you can download a form and see more. The business office will start selling passes on August 15th. Make checks payable to University of Florida. The business office is open Monday – Thursday, 7:00am -3:00pm during the summer.
Cafeteria
Free and reduced lunch forms are now available online. You may access - Free and Reduced Lunch On-Line Applications for the new School year later in the summer. There is no mailing or returning to the office you can submit on line - this is faster and easier and green!
Cafeteria staff will be available during orientation to receive money for existing accounts and to take money from parents who want to prepay for accounts that will be set-up for new students. The cafeteria site has other helpful links.
PKYPTO Corner
We have an active and vibrant PTO come join us for any and all meetings and functions. Our schedule for 2011-2012 school year is forthcoming and you can always check the PKYPTO Calendar on the PTO Page, you can also find our dates in the general school calendar. Hope to see you there!
All meetings begin at 5:30pm, the 2nd Tuesday of each month, and are held in the Community Classroom unless otherwise noted.
The PTO will be at the school on the days of Orientation and Meet the Teacher. We will be selling spirit wear and will have membership applications available, as well as volunteer information. This is a great chance to begin to get connected!

- Middle School: First period assignments will be posted on the cafeteria window the first day of school. Students will be given their class schedule in First Period. All students must follow their schedule.
- High School class schedules will be mailed to the students in the summer.
- If an error has been made on a middle school or high school schedule, students must complete a “drop/add” form. Contact the guidance department with any questions (352-392-1554 ext.233).
