Announcing Baby Gator @ P.K. Yonge!P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School and Baby Gator Child Development and Research Center are pleased to partner to bring a Baby Gator center to the P.K. Yonge campus! Two classrooms, one for three and four year olds and one for four and five year olds (VPK hours included), will open July 30, 2012 in the current kindergarten classrooms in H-wing (Building 515). The center will enroll 40 children.
Enrollment priority includes siblings of currently enrolled P.K. Yonge students and interested parents should complete a Waiting List Application on the Baby Gator website. Spaces will be filled in the order in which the applications and fees are received. Applications and fees cannot be accepted at P.K. Yonge.
The center will be open Monday through Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm, 12 months a year and will follow the UF calendar. Baby Gator at P.K. Yonge will be licensed by the Florida Department of Child and Families Services (DCF).
Children enrolled at Baby Gator at P.K. Yonge will participate in the Alachua County Public School meals program. Parents may choose to purchase breakfast and lunch through the Alachua County Food Service on-line purchase system or they may send a lunch box daily. Baby Gator will provide a nutritious afternoon snack.
Tuition rates are listed below. Please note that VPK eligible families pay no tuition for VPK hours (approximately 3 hours per day, September through April). Tuition listed below includes care for a full day without the VPK credit. Baby Gator meets the needs of families who require full-time care, including VPK, first. Should spaces remain, then children whose families request VPK-only will be enrolled. There is a one-time $12 fee for a Baby Gator t-shirt that is kept at the center for the children to wear on field trips.
