The ‘game’ is revealed and teams immediately get started on formulating ideas and plans for the build of their 2018 robot. On of the teams in attendance will be the The Cell-Ticks, a rookie team with whom the Roaring Riptide will work this season.
The competition begins each year with a Kickoff event where teams all over the country and around the world stay glued to the FIRST website in anticipation for the reveal of the “game” of the season and develop their robot for the season events.
