Student: Jacob Sedesse Named to Microsoft’s Council for Digital Good

May 1, 2017

Congratulations to Jacob Sedesse who was recently invited to serve on the Microsoft Council for Digital Good. Sedesse, recently selected to compete in Certiport’s 2017 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship, will be participating in an on-campus summit in Redmond, WA, on August 2 and 3 in a new role on Microsoft’s Council for Digital Good.

Jacob was one of 15 teens selected from around the nation to serve on the Council for Digital Good. This council is designed to help youth appreciate and understand the risks and potential harm associated with life online. Through the council, Microsoft hopes to gain an informed perspective on today’s online interactions and thereby play a role in making online experiences for youth healthier, safer, and more enjoyable.

Congratulations Jacob! Your input will be extremely valuable and your participation will make a difference for young people and their online interactions!
