Student: 5 Points of Life Marathon – 94 students!

The P.K. Yonge contingent had an incredible showing at the 5 Points of Life Marathon which took place on the 17th and 18th of February. 94 (!!!) P.K. Yonge students participated in the marathon and won a $750 from LifeSouth for the school with the most participants!

The Five Points of Life Foundation is a support affiliate of LifeSouth Community Blood Centers that educates and raises awareness of the five ways to share life with others through the donation of blood, apheresis, marrow, cord blood, organ and tissue. The Foundation works with blood centers, organ procurement organizations, marrow registries and community organizations to educate citizens about donation.
