Today is Wednesday, April 17th and it is a B Day.

Wanna be a part of an award-winning family? Try out for the P. K. Yonge Colorguard!  Auditions will take place on Monday April 29th and Tuesday April 30th from 3-5:30 in the band room. See you there!

?Congratulations to the boys’ tennis team who won the district championship yesterday for the 4th year in a row! It was a clean sweep with every individual: Ivan Esguerra, Kendrick Esguerra, Jadon Kennard, Matt Miller, and Lotus Campbell winning their individual draws as well as Ivan and Kendrick and Jadon and Matt winning at doubles.  Good luck next Tuesday in the regional semi-final at Jonesville at 3:30pm.

Congratulations to the Middle School Baseball Team for their victory over Queen of Peace last night.  Way to go, Blue Wave!

Anybody who is interested in getting community services hours this summer with Camp Blue Wave, please come by room R259 or the after school pick up table and get an application.

The football team will be holding tryouts for place kickers and punters, every Tuesday and Thursday in the month April. Soccer players are greatly encouraged to tryout. If you are interested, please come see Coach

McDonald or send him an email on Canvas. Kicking is a valuable skill set and a great way to be a part of the football team!

All members of the Hispanic Honor Society, our next meeting will be TODAY during lunch.

If you’re a current 8th grader – 11th grader who’s interested in 3-D design, engineering and robotics, please join us for a club interest meeting after school on Thursday, April 18th.  The meeting will last until approximately 3:30 p.m. in Room M-344.

Seniors, please remember to fill out a “Final” transcript request form and turn in to Mrs. Flinchum or Ms. Bryen to have your transcript sent to the College you are going to attend.

All students traveling to China will meet in Dr. Cordero’s room Thursday after school.  It is important for all to attend as we will be planning our next fundraising events. Hope to see everybody on Thursday!

National Junior Honor Society is inviting you to join our “Trash Flash Mob” on Monday April 22 in honor of Earth Day.  Mrs. Beckett will be at middle school lunch with trash bags for anyone who would like to help pick up trash around the cafeteria to keep our school campus clean.  High school students, feel free to keep it clean during your lunch too.
