Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Wednesday, March 21st and it is an A Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

This week is PACK week! PK Yonge Health Smart Committee asks for your participation in a simple five-day program aimed at encouraging kids to eat more fruits and vegetables.  Each day of the PACK five-day program is assigned a different color to help children focus on broadening their selection of fruits and vegetables. For more fun, wear something to match the color of the day! Check out the bulletin board outside the cafeteria for more details!

Are you constantly hungry? Are you always craving sweets? Well look no further! There will be a $2 bake sale to benefit the Humane Society. Come to front of the gym on Friday between the end of school and 3:30pm to buy cookies, brownies, cake pops, and much more.  Everything is $2 and 100% of the profits will be donated to the Humane Society. Come and join us to help raise money for these special animals!

Any student 15 years of age or older that’s interested in taking driver education at the Traffic Safety Center this summer, can go to the Alachua County Schools website and register on line, or see Coach Johnson to get the information.

CONGRATULATIONS to Alex Barba and Austin Halvosa on being selected as representatives from P.K. Yonge, for the Alachua County 2018 Excellence in Theatre Arts recognition. This acknowledgement is presented by the University of Florida’s Friends of Theatre and Dance and is a result of their dedication to the theatre and performing arts at program here at PK Yonge.
