5th Grade End of Year Events
May 15, 2019We cannot believe that the end of the school year is upon us! There are a couple of events specific to 5th Graders during this season:
1. Peek Across the Creek Ceremony – Wednesday, May 22nd (8:15 – 8:45) – P.K. Yonge Bridge
Mark your calendars for this ceremony where students “graduate” by crossing over the P.K. bridge to symbolize their next steps into middle school. The ceremony will begin around 8:30, but arrive by 8:15 for a good spot! Official flier HERE. To get your security badge pre-printed (will be sorted by class outside front office), please complete THIS google form.
2. 5th Grade Childhood Slideshow – Wednesday, May 22nd (10:00 – 10:55) – Performing Arts Center
Another tradition for our 5th graders is to compile a slideshow of baby and childhood pictures to show after Peek Across the Creek. We need pictures of your student to make this happen! Please upload pictures HERE by Friday, May 14th.
3. 5th Grade Presentations – Friday, May 24th – 4/5 Learning Community
