Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Tuesday, November 14^th and it is a B Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention Middle School Students:  If you have not picked up your PKY Health Smart T-Shirt, bring your pledge card to Dr. Geiger’s Power Hour spot to get yours today.

Congratulations to Ameriyah for taking the Health Smart Pledge and helping to spread the word.  Ameriyah, stop by Dr. Geiger’s Power Hour spot to claim your prize.

The 2017 Thespian Showcase is tomorrow at 6:30PM in the Performing Arts Center! Our showcase will feature solos, monologues, duets, trios, and large group numbers, performed by students who will be competing in Florida District 2 Thespian Competition. Admission is $3 at the door. Support your friends in the Thespian Showcase!

Winterguard auditions are tomorrow from 3-5pm in the band room. Auditions are open to all middle and high school students.

School Counseling:

Attention upperclassmen:  The last day to get transcripts before the holiday break is December 12^th. Please see Mrs. Flinchum before December 12^th if you need a copy of your transcript for college applications.

Power Hour:

There will be a Key Club meeting during Power Hour in Ms. Andrews’ room.  All members, please plan to attend, and please be prompt!

The National Junior Honor Society meeting for this week has been cancelled.  The next meeting will be after the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 28th.  Hope to see all members then!

A few announcements from the cafeteria:

Reminder that the food truck will be parked by the gym during Power Hour today! Additionally, Thursday is the annual Thanksgiving feast and Friday is National Diabetes Day.   The cafeteria will be serving one cookie per meal to teach everyone it is okay to have sugar with your meal if you are doing so in moderation.
