Theatre / Drama

P.K. Yonge hosts a remarkable performance facility where top-notch theatre is created.  The Fall Play is open to secondary students at P.K. Yonge. Our process takes place during after-school rehearsals where students and faculty collaborate.  Actors, technicians, and student directors utilize professional stage directions, build characters and blocking through the method, and experience a professional rehearsal and production process that results in excellent live theatre.  Students are highly encouraged to enroll in a drama class, but enrollment is not mandatory.

Past productions include: Animal Farm, The Crucible, and Every 17 Minutes the Crowd Goes Crazy

“Shakespeare as written by Groucho Marx, acted by Monty Python, and performed at the speed of the minute waltz. So forsooth! Get thee to the delightfully fractured Complete Works.”
Los Angeles Herald

“The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, is All The Bard You Need!!”

Imagine a show where the players on stage attempt to ‘perform’ every play that Shakespeare ever wrote. Sounds ridiculous, right?! This raucous, fast-paced, irreverent comedy will keep the audience in stitches! Want more information? Don’t hesitate to contact Ms. Snyder.
