As a developmental research school, our mission is to design, test, and disseminate innovations in K-12 education. We enact our mission by serving a diverse community of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

As part of its mission as a developmental research school, P.K. Yonge engages in research, outreach, and partnerships, The school hosts professional learning and outreach activities for more than 300 educators each year. Current and future educators come to P.K. Yonge to examine practice and learn about work taking place in classrooms on our campus. Our partnerships with education researchers, educational institutions, and other educators extends our research and outreach work and provide ways for educational innovations to be tested and refined. We share our work and partner with others in an effort to change outcomes for all of Florida's students.
