Becca is the Elementary School Counselor at P. K. Yonge Developmental Research School. She is devoted to helping children learn and grow in a positive way through play therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She helps children express their emotions and thoughts in a creative and fun way, as well as addressing behavioral and emotional issues through creative and playful interventions. She seeks to increase a child’s awareness of their surroundings, which in turn fosters change. Becca works to collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to meet the individual needs of each child.

Becca has been working with children clinically for approximately three years within both mental health agencies and various school districts throughout Gainesville and Orlando. She is beyond excited as she enters her first year at P. K. Yonge, and looks forward to learning and growing with both families and children.

In her free time, Becca enjoys cooking, coloring, and playing with her cat Maymay.
